The slow burning life of Elementary continues. The film landed the best streaming debut of a film on Disney+ so far this year, the streaming service announced Monday. Elementary was a much-needed victory for Disney and Pixar, who were suffering failure light year last year, and observers wondered whether pandemic-era policies sending animated titles directly to Disney+ would dampen box office potential.
