Elle Edwards: Raised £12,000 for family in less than a day

MORE than £12,000 was raised in less than a day for the family of Elle Edwards, who was killed in a shooting on Christmas Eve.

The 26-year-old was celebrating with her friends and sister at the Lighthouse Pub in Wallasey Village, Wirral Mersesyide on Christmas Eve when she was shot and killed just before midnight.

Several shots were fired at the front of the pub, hitting her in the head and injuring four other men.

Police have confirmed that beautician Elle was probably not the intended target of the shooting.
