English club ‘open to offers’ for £20m Leeds and Tottenham target

The mail claim Wolves are “open to offers” for powerful winger Adama Traore this summer as both Leeds and Tottenham show interest. Both clubs tried to sign Traore in January only for him to be loaned out to Barcelona.
Traore, 26, returned to Barcelona on a loan-to-buy deal in January – having progressed through La Masia academy. He played 16 times under Xavi but failed to score a single goal and had just four assists.
The Spain international has now entered the final 12 months of his contract at Molineux and The Mail say Wolves are ‘open to offers’ for the winger. Reports earlier this summer say Leeds and Tottenham are still keeping tabs on him.
Wolves ‘open to offers’ for Traore amid Leeds and Tottenham interest
Traore’s stock is barely at its highest. After the 2018/19 season, the player was being priced at over £40m after making 18 goals for a Wolves side that reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
The potential is there, but its end product has always been a problem. The fact that he scored just one goal for Wolves and Barcelona last season is testament to that. But at £20m he’s a steal. Victor Orta “loves” him.
The Spanish director of football, who pulled the strings at Elland Road, worked alongside Traore at Middlesbrough. With Raphinha, Leeds could easily play for the winger. But spurs may require depth.
Lucas Moura is a target for Juventus and Steven Bergwijn is close to a move to Ajax. Spurs could reignite interest to cover Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison and Son Heung-min.
