Ben and Erin Napier

Ben and Erin Napier star in HGTV’s hit series Home Town.

Erin and Ben Napier have completed their shore leave renovation, Erin revealed on Instagram. The HGTV star shared an update with her followers after taking a break from social media for Lent.

As they captioned a slideshow of photos“Country life for the past 40 days (we finished the cottage! we didn’t use social media for Lent! our friend Laura posted everything for us! it’s been busy! we’re tired! and grateful!)”

Her vacation home will be featured in Season 6 of Home Town, which is currently on hiatus for the premiere of its spin-off, Home Town Kickstart.

“We call it a vacation home because we never leave Laurel and that’s why it’s ours, this is our vacation home,” Ben previously told Heavy.

Erin has shared glimpses of the renovation on her social media, including models of new pantries, a cousin cubby for overnight stays and a bathroom. As they said People in December 2021“It’s a very old house that was added on in the 80’s.”

They also told the publication that they have no plans to move out of their current “dream house” where they live with their daughters Helen and Mae.

The Napiers will reveal their makeover to their mothers

Ben and Erin Napier rose to fame renovating homes in their community of Laurel, Mississippi in “Home Town.” While they usually tell the homeowners about the renovations, this time they surprise their moms.

“The producers don’t know this, but our moms saw it a few weeks ago and they said, ‘No way. There’s no way you’re going to finish this in time,'” Ben previously told Heavy.

Viewers can also watch the couple’s friends – Josh Nowell and Jim and Mallorie Rasberry – see the finished home as they help put the furniture away.

“You haven’t seen it since we started this,” the woodworker added at the time. “We brought them in and gave them a tour when we bought the house and they will come…bring furniture. We will send them to work and they will help us move furniture and stuff. And that’s how they’ll be able to see it.”

The “Hometown” franchise is expanding

Their Home Town franchise, which also includes Home Town Takeover and Home Town: Ben’s Workshop, is expanding with their latest spin-off, Home Town Kickstart. The new series is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time.

The Napiers will act as advisors to other network stars as they help spur revitalization in six new small towns. In the first episode “Help! I Wrecked My House star Jasmine Roth and Rock the Block host Ty Pennington head to Buffalo, Wyoming.

“Each episode, HGTV experts take the lead on three projects for each city: Rejuvenate a local hero’s home, rejuvenate a small business, and revitalize a public space to improve the quality of life for residents and encourage community pride .” This was announced by HGTV.

The other communities featured are Cornwall, New York; Winslow, Arizona; LaGrange, Kentucky; Thomaston, Georgia and Minden, Louisiana.
