Events happening in Chicago next weekend – NBC Chicago

As the year draws to a close, events across Chicago will ring in 2022 with New Year’s Eve celebrations across the city.

After events were largely reimagined last year due to the coronavirus pandemic and the start of vaccinations, more gatherings this year will be held in person on December 31.

Here is a list of some of the celebrations in the area:

Soiree at midnight

Hilton Chicago
Ticket price: $125

Thousands of people are expected to party at Hilton’s 7 party areas with 12 party activities. The all-inclusive event offers cocktails, buffets, appetizers, champagne, gambling and DJing, among other features.

Ballroom Blitz NYE 2022

Swisshotel Chicago
Ticket price: $109

The hotel’s many ballrooms will be filled with entertainment, cocktails, appetizers, pasta bars, champagne, raffles, DJs and live bands, and more. Hotel rooms are discounted $175 a night.

Chicago New Year’s Eve Balloons

Ticket price: $89 GA / $109 VIP

In the hotel’s ballrooms, partygoers will experience all-inclusive drinks, DJs, cover bands and buffets. Hotel rooms are discounted $149 per night.

Soiree New Year’s Eve in Chicago

The New Year’s Eve gala will feature buffets, cocktails and DJs in some of Marriott’s ballrooms. A drink pack will also be available.

Chicago W NYE New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner

Hopping from room to room in the W’s party areas, everyone can enjoy all-inclusive drinks, buffets, champagne, fancy parties and midnight celebrations. Hotel rooms are discounted $169 a night.

Guests will receive complimentary champagne and parties within a night of live music, as well as signature dishes and cocktails. Advance reservation is recommended, but not required.

Yard House New Year’s Eve Celebration

Tailored to beer lovers, Yard House’s New Year’s Eve celebration will feature a complimentary flute by the latest brewer, Give ‘Em Helles – a traditional German pale ale. Other food and beer options will also be available.

Gatsby’s nearly 2022 New Year’s Eve party
