Everton contact midfielder after Newcastle asked to pay £22m

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United now face competition from Frank Lampard’s Everton, according to Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot But! football club.

The report in the French news outlet claims Everton have been in touch with Rabiot to sign him in the summer transfer window.

This follows claims that Newcastle are interested in the 26-year-old French midfielder, who has won five Ligue 1 titles with Paris Saint-Germain and one Serie A with Juventus.

In our opinion, Rabiot would prefer Newcastle to Everton if the Juventus midfielder has offers from both clubs.
