When is Dancing With the Stars coming back?
If Dancing With the Stars is renewed for season 31, the show is expected to premiere in mid-September 2022.
The season 30 finale of Dancing With the Stars attracted 5.643 million viewers, up almost 18 percent from the previous week. The show also had a high rating in the 18-49 demographic coveted by networks.
According to TVSeriesFinalewhich reports the shows’ viewership each week, “Dancing With the Stars” attracted just 5.46 million viewers at its season premiere, down nearly 33% from its season 29 premiere.
Still, an average of over 5 million viewers is favorable for network television shows.
Will Tyra Banks Return as Host of ‘Dancing With the Stars’?
Ahead of Season 30, there has been a behind-the-scenes change on Dancing With the Stars. According to a statement dated March 17, 2022 report in due time, Executive Producer Andrew Llinares has been fired from Dancing With the Stars.
The change caused some fans to wonder if Tyra Banks will be returning to the show. She took over the role of presenter from Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews prior to Season 29, and some fans believe that Banks could be on the way out as well due to this executive producer change.

There could be several professional dancers leaving “Dancing With the Stars” before the upcoming season. Sharna Burgess announced in early 2022 that she was expecting her first child and was due on July 4, 2022.

Val Chmerkovskiy has spoken out multiple times about retiring from Dancing With the Stars since he and his Season 30 partner Olivia Jade retired from the competition. His brother, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, has also said he has no plans to return to the show.
Cheryl Burke, another fan-favorite professional dancer, has indicated that she would like to retire from the show.
burke opened for Hello! magazine about what she would really like to do during her time on Dancing With the Stars and said she would love to be a judge on the show or even a judge on the British equivalent Strictly Come Dancing.
“I’ve been begging for this job, how many seasons does a girl have to do?” Burke joked with the outlet.
