Everything we know about dragon riding in WoW Dragonflight

The upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, Dragonflight, will change the way mounts are handled in the tried-and-true MMORPG. When players venture to the Dragon Isles, they will handle their very own Dragon Isles dragon.
As players progress through the new zones and expansion, they will acquire four new Dragon Isles Drakes. These dragons are customizable, with players being able to choose traits like snout, wings, tails, armor and more.

During their journey, adventurers will acquire new dragon riding skills. These maneuvers fight both exhaustion and enemies who want to drag the drake back to earth. There will be a level cap for Dragonriding, but once it’s reached, players will be able to track down ancient glyphs that advance the skill tree. There will also be challenges to complete that unlock more customization options.
Blizzard engineers implemented new physics for Dragon Ride, and it’s not your typical flying mount. Players must control their dragon’s stamina through a variety of moves, such as leaping to the ground and spreading their mighty creature’s wings to soar high in the air.
As it appears this feature will be available to players shortly after they arrive in the Dragon Isles, it will likely address the common complaint that flying is taking some time to arrive in the expansion. In any case, this all looks very exciting.
