Colton Underwood’s rep confirms he had no trouble shopping his wedding for a TV special.

Colton Underwood’s rep has denied a report that the former ‘Bachelor’ is struggling to land a network for a TV wedding.

The initial Radar report quoted unnamed “sources” as claiming Underwood and his fiancé Jordan C. Brown were unable to strike a deal that would allow them to share their nuptials with the world.

“Colton has been planning a TV wedding for a long time. He was sure the first gay bachelor to get married would spark a bidding war between networks and streaming services, but no one has said ‘yes’ so far,” unnamed sources told the outlet.

The sources went on to say that Underwood’s agent has been arranging meetings for him in hopes of getting him a television special.

Heavy reached out to Underwood’s rep to find out the news. “It’s just not true,” Underwood’s rep told Heavy exclusively, adding that Radar did not reach out to her for comment.

Here’s what you need to know:

Many “Bachelor” fans aren’t interested in Underwood & Brown’s wedding

Shortly after the Radar article was published, “Bachelor” fans took to Reddit to discuss the possibility of Underwood and Brown’s wedding being televised. Many people expressed that they didn’t want to see Underwood’s wedding.

“I’m sorry, but who would buy that, let alone watch it?” commented one Redditor in a thread about the TV wedding rumor.

“Wow. There’s dense people who lack awareness, and then there’s Colton. This guy doesn’t know when to stop. I’ve always felt this relationship seemed rushed and sketchy. Like he’s coming out quickly and got engaged, it would somehow erase all his problematic and criminal behavior.” read another comment.

“Wow. This made me hate him even more than I already do and I didn’t think it was possible,” a third person wrote.

“I’m not going to upvote this post because it will be happy to be the front page of the subreddit, but this guy…is a menace. He terrorized Cassie. He’s a stalker. He’s a molester, he’s been faking identities to manipulate and terrorize Cassie as a mad person to destroy her sanity with fear.” added a fourth Reddit user.

Underwood not planning another season of ‘Coming Out Colton’

Although Underwood wanted to share his coming-out story with the world, his Netflix series Coming Out Colton may not get a second season.

The show followed Underwood’s journey as he told his family and friends that he was gay and showcased the struggles he faced, particularly within his church when he made the decision to come out as gay.

And while a second season may have been a good way for Underwood to share more of his story — including his crush and engagement to Jordan C. Brown — the reality star recently admitted that’s unlikely to happen.

“I don’t want to speak definitively, but I will say now, in the time of my life and in my relationship [with fiancé Jordan C. Brown]having a show center around that isn’t a healthy decision for any of us,” Underwood said said Us Weekly on March 15, 2022. “So, right now there’s no second season. At the moment we are not investigating this for our relationships or for my work projects,” he added.
