On Wednesday, Christopher “Hurricane Chris” Dooley appeared in a Shreveport courtroom with a lawyer on a second-degree murder charge in June 2020. The Shade Room has exclusive information on his trial.
In exclusive information obtained by The Shade Room, we have learned that the court date for Hurricane Chris is Monday, February 13th. The date was originally set for November, according to a source, and lawyers agreed to uphold the date in court on Monday. The defendant is also scheduled to appear in court shortly before the February 1 trial.
If you remember, it was a man from Louisiana shot and killed early in the morning in Shreveport. The shooting reportedly happened around 1 a.m. at a Texaco gas station on the 2600 block of Hollywood Avenue.
The 33-year-old rapper told authorities he shot the deceased in self-defense after fighting for his car. Officials dismissed his claims after security footage was obtained from the gas station and showed otherwise.
The ‘A Bay Bay’ rapper is also facing charges of illegally possessing stolen property. The car he was driving at the time of the murder was reported stolen in Texas.
