Now comes the Metaverse, an online environment where users experience a new world through virtual reality and other novel technologies. This could allow people to attend events they would otherwise not be able to: imagine going to a James Taylor concert without having to put on a denim shirt. Mark Zuckerberg renamed his company Meta and invested billions developing the idea.
