FAA selects airport for 5G buffer zone

US aviation safety regulators have selected dozens of airports that will have buffer zones to help avoid expected flight disruptions after the new 5G wireless service becomes operational later this month.

These also include airports prone to fog and clouds, such as San Francisco International and Seattle-Tacoma International.
