Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans said she was stepping down from social media after fake pictures of her daughter were shared online.
Former “Teen Mom” star Jenelle Evans said she’s deleting social media from her phone after her husband David Eason briefly returned to Twitter. Evans said she’s taking a break from the apps after people “photoshopped” pictures of her 6-year-old daughter Ensley, the child she shares with Eason.
“I’m deleting my social apps for a bit,” Evans wrote via Instagram stories on March 6, per Teen Mom Chatter. “The amount of hate and photoshopped out there about my daughter is insane.”
She then called on business magnate and investor Elon Musk to monitor child resemblance on Twitter. According to the New York TimesMusk acquired the microblog in October 2022 for $44 billion.
“It would be great if Elon Musk protected images of minors on @twitter,” Evan wrote via Instagram stories on March 6th, per Teen Mom Chatter.
As noted by Evans, a fake image of Ensley was doing the rounds on social media, where someone completely distorted her appearance. Teen Mom Chatter posted a screenshot of the modified image. It looked like it was posted from Evans verified account. “Ensley’s selfie she took with my phone before school yesterday morning,” the caption reads, per the screenshot. However, the image was not an authentic photograph of Ensley.
Evans was fired from “Teen Mom” in 2019 after Eason shot and killed her dog, a French bulldog named Nugget. Eason was fired from Teen Mom the year before for posting offensive comments on social media.
Eason started the drama on Twitter
The drama began when Eason started calling Evans’ former “Teen Mom” co-stars via a new Twitter account that has since been deactivated.
Ashley Jones tweeted about wanting her 5-year-old daughter Holly – who she shares with husband Bar Smith – to be a better version of herself when she grows up. “People always say they hope my daughter isn’t like me…. S*** me too she gets 10x better, 10x smarter, 10x more beautiful…” she tweeted on March 4th.
Eason entered the chat hours later – according to screenshots posted by Teen Mom Chatter – by sharing a GIF of a character with distorted facial features from the 1985 film, “mask.”
The gif says at the bottom, “Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.” Captioning the picture, Eason wrote, “The kid.”
“Mask” tells the true story of Rocky Dennis, a teenager trying to lead a normal life despite suffering from a severe facial skull deformity, according to the Internet Movie Database. The film stars are Cher, Sam Elliot and Eric Stolz. It won an Oscar for Best Makeup in 1986.
Eason and Evans have been married since September 2017. Both have two children from different relationships. Evans is the mother of 13-year-old Jace, whom she welcomed with her high school boyfriend Andrew Lewis, and 8-year-old Kaiser, whom she welcomed with her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith.
Eason is the father of 15-year-old Maryssa, whom he welcomed with ex-girlfriend Whitney Johnson, and 9-year-old Kaden, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Olivia Leedham.
Eason has been estranged from his son for years, according to reports The sun.
Smith hits Eaa back
Smith weighed in on the controversy where he threatened Eason via Twitter after Eason commented on Jones’ post about Holly.
“I ain’t lied to what that n**** David just said, I’m a buck. I better not hear a n**** share their opinion about my wife or kid or it’s on sight and that’s for everyone – management,” Smith tweeted. “Tired of playing it cool, I’m banging up n***** now,” he said in another News.
“I would say it to you @ravindavidd about children, but I’m not talking about children understand that the level of inbreeding appears to be high there,” Smith wrote in a third tweet.
Smith also changed his Twitter profile and background to pictures of Eason.
“Really trying to stop the violence and create a better image, these p***** aren’t helping,” Smith said in one fourth message.
One of Smiths’ most popular tweets during his tirade was one in which he claimed Eason had attacked Evans. “This n**** beat up Jenelle like it was a weekend sport bruh, got no right to say shit about nothing,” Smith tweeted.
2018, TMZ received audio of a 911 call that Evans made. She told a dispatcher that Eason may have attacked her and broken her collarbone.
Evans then backtracked on the claims and posted a YouTube video in which she denied having been molested. “Everything is fine. You know, I’ve been in so many situations of domestic violence in the past that I wouldn’t take it now,” she said in the YouTube video. “So I don’t know why you would think that if I was abused I would continue in this relationship.”
