Fans think Kailyn Lowry and her boyfriend may have broken up

Fans believe former ‘Teen Mom 2’ star Kailyn Lowry, 30, may be back in the market based on a remark she made on Tuesday. March 7 episode of her podcast Baby Mamas No Drama.

Kailyn says she has a hard time accepting help in a relationship

On Tuesday’s episode, Lowry and her co-host Vee Rivera, 31, were joined by an influencer Chris GQ Perry to talk about relationships.

At one point, the hosts and Perry discussed typical male and female roles in a relationship, when Lowry admitted she struggled to be “taken care of” by a man.

“I think it’s hard for me in my relationships to accept a man who cares and protects and does all these things,” she said. “It’s very difficult for me to accept that.”

The MTV star went on to say that she even feels uncomfortable about making a man pay for dinner.

“I pay 100% of the bills at home and I pay all of my kids, and it would be very odd for me to be with someone who does those things,” she told Rivera and Perry.

The comment surprised fans because Lowry has been living with boyfriend Elijah Scott since April 2022. Us Weekly reported in June 2022.

After Lowry discussed her financial situation, Rivera jumped in with her thoughts on the situation.

“I feel like you need an alpha male to just walk in and say, ‘Baby, I’m paying for this,’ and that’s it. You need someone to take the initiative and I don’t think you’ve been with someone like that before,” she said.

“Right,” Lowry replied.

At the end of the episode, Perry left Lowry with some encouraging news, telling the Teen Mom star, “I’m sure you’ll find someone great for you.”

Rather than mention her partner, Lowry replied, “Thank you.”

Fans speculate about Kailyn’s relationship status

A Teen Mom fan account on March 8th shared a screenshot an article from the US sun which focused on the confusion surrounding Lowry’s recent podcast statements on Instagram.

“Fans seem to think it’s for Kail and Elijah Splitsville after Kail claims she has no help with her household bills,” they wrote in the post’s caption.

Teen Mom fans commented on the post with their thoughts on Lowry’s relationship status.

“I hope it’s a rumor, but she talks like she’s single sometimes.” wrote one Instagram user.

“She also said something in another episode like, ‘It would be great if you just went to your house and we could just live apart,’ or something like that. I immediately thought, oh man, they’re probably breaking up 😕”, Another user speculated.

“She’s been talking like she’s single lately 👀👀👀” added a third user.

“She mentioned that Elijah rented his house and moved in with her. I don’t think they broke up.” A fourth user pointed this out. “She mentioned that Elijah is a very private person.”
