Fans later took to the post’s comments to slam Smith for his actions, which he in his acceptance speech for Best Actor.

The incident happened during the second half of the Academy Awards when Rock was on stage presenting the winner for Best Documentary. He made a joke about Jada Pinkett-Smith in GI Jane 2 because of her shaved head, which apparently triggered her husband. Smith rose from his front row seat and walked to the stage and seemingly slapped Rock, then said, “Keep my wife’s name out of your frigging mouth,” all censored on American television.
