Fans of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” and Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” believe a former ballroom dancing show contestant could appear as a judge on “So You Think You Can Dance” in the 2022 season of the show.
Siwa was a contestant on season 30 of “Dancing With the Stars” and made history as part of the show’s first-ever same-sex partnership alongside professional dancer Jenna Johnson-Chmerkovskiy. She also just finished her tour.
The former contestant has danced much of her life, making her a candidate to be a dance show judge when it returns in 2022 for season 17.
Some fans believe that Siwa will join SYTYCD as a judge
A fan took to Reddit to share the idea of Siwa joining Fox’s competitive show.
“I think there is a high chance that JoJo Siwa will be one of the judges on SYTYCD.” read the post. “Since she joined DWTS, do you think she’ll be ashamed of being part of the panel judging dancers who might be a lot better than her?”
Some people thought she would make a good judge on the show.
“I don’t think JoJo would be a bad judge.” one person wrote. “She has a variety of different experiences as a dancer. She is trained in different styles and she is a true performer. I think she could give a good feedback. She’s a very positive person, so I think she can give good feedback without being mean, but hopefully not too positive.”
Another person wrote, “I think she might be one too, she’s been following the show and the executive producer. I don’t think it’s a big deal to judge people better than they do, I mean it’s not [Carrie Ann Inaba] is better in the ballroom than many others she judges.”
