What you need to know for Thursday’s block media
By Jim McCormick and Kyle Soppe
Bum Bum: The Nets are starting to get consistent gameplay from Andre Drummond (44% available). Drummond is 12th in the league in terms of recovery chances in the past 10 games and has a real comeback for Brooklyn. Expect some high percentages in pick and roll matches combined with heavy minutes in the game against a large Milwaukee roster.
Lake effect: Malik Monk (74% availability) has averaged 24.7 points and 3.7 3-pointers over the past three games have been the main scoring pick for the Lakers with LeBron James and Anthony Davis sidelined. James and Davis are both out again ahead of tonight’s Jazz tilt, and Monk is a strong contender to flirt with 10 times 3 points and heavy utilization rates for a dwindling Los Angeles team.
Male wing: Atlanta has endured a number of immediate woes with both John Collins and Danilo Gallinari injured. Collins won’t be playing against the Cavaliers, so if Gallinari can’t attend, Bogdan Bogdanovic (26% available) and Kevin Huerter (85%) will be strong starters in the fantasy. Huerter has averaged 20.7 points with solid peripherals over the past week.
Detroit Depth: Isaiah Stewart (35% available) has hit multiple 3-pointers in consecutive games for the first time in his career and makes an interesting target at plus odds hitting another one tonight against the 76ers. Stewart is eighth in the NBA with 17.8 rebounds per game in the past 10 games, supporting value even as he faces Joel Embiid in the post. Marvin Bagley III (40%) struggled with Brooklyn earlier this week, but could thrive if he is confronted with Embiid’s exploitable fallbacks.
Play Punt: Isaiah Hartenstein is at more than 85% of the tournaments and signed up for just $5,100 on DraftKings tonight despite facing a team recovering from below average in the Bulls. Paul George’s return made headlines in Tuesday’s win, but Hartenstein has quietly continued to do his thing and has averaged 14.7 points from 15 of 22 (68.1%) shots in three. last match. Scoring was good, but he also averaged 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game in that span. There are plenty of hot stars on tonight’s charts and if you want to build around two of them, Hartenstein is a savvy place to look for a pay cut.
Play Super Punt: It is clear that the Cavaliers believe in consistently improving and with Evan Mobley playing at least three games, Moses Brown becomes an interesting option. He posted 12 points and 9 rebounds in 21 minutes last night against the Mavericks, so we know there are some advantages to pursue here. He also averaged 9.4 PPG and 10.3 PPG last May with the Thunder. Brown got a Hawks team with below-average resilience tonight that has allowed them to score a combined average of 236.1 points over the past 10 games. If you play your cards right and on a short plan, there are ways to build a decent DFS lineup with both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant if you believe the match is going to be special.

The Bucks are hitting their peak as they gear up for the post-season, having won 10 of their past 12 games (+7.0) with Giannis Antetokounmpo against a host of great teams in the knockout stages. next. The Nets have stabilized, but appear to be experiencing some growing pains as Kyrie Irving returns to play full-time. The Nets have drawn 2-2 (scoring difference +0.3) in their past four games against Irving, and failed to score in three of those four. – André Snellings
