Farrah Abraham is back from her 28 day stay at a trauma treatment center.
“I’m excited. I had the best time of my life at the trauma treatment center,” she shared in an Instagram video published on March 31, 2022.
Abraham stated that she spent the one-year anniversary of her own alleged sexual assault at the treatment center.
“I’ve made it my mission not just to see my family, but to reflect on my year so I can share my resources — and all of the help and treatment I’ve done to gain some sanity.”
Abraham first shared with fans that she would be checking into a rehab center in early March 2022. she announced the news in a TikTok video, told fans: “There’s really no easy way to say it. I am being directed to a trauma treatment center for 28 days. I just wanted to share and be open.”

Abraham began her post: “I’m grateful to have a moment to write a brief glimpse into my life as I just passed from a 28th birthday on my one year anniversary after the day I was sexually assaulted last year -day trauma treatment center.”
She then described her struggles after the alleged attack, writing: “I also want to express that I don’t know what kind of mentally ill person finds sex great with someone who is unconscious who won’t even remember them or even one is I could enjoy the sexual experience but on the other hand I would never sleep with the person who raped me nor could I bear to look at him or talk to him as this was getting scarier and scarier by the moment until I ran.”
Abraham continued“You may have sensed that my year wasn’t the best to land me in a trauma program on the first anniversary, and you would be right. I would have loved to have told you that I recovered from the sexual assault a day, a week later, a month later, or even 6 months later, but obviously trauma doesn’t fit my schedule.
Abraham was one of nine women who accused former Mayor Dominic Foppoli of sexual assault in 2021
On May 21, 2021, former Windsor Mayor Dominic Foppoli announced his resignation after nine women accused him of sexual assault and misconduct. according to the San Francisco Chronicle. In a written declaration of withdrawal wrote the former mayor: “I have always maintained, and will always maintain, that I have never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity with any woman.”
Allegations against the former mayor first surfaced in April 2021, as highlighted in an investigation by the San Francisco Chronicle.
Abraham accused Foppoli of “sexual violence” with his “hands/feet/teeth” at a Palm Beach home. according to documents from the San Francisco Chronicle. Abraham’s attorney stated that the alleged incident took place in March 2021.
After Foppoli resigned, Abraham’s attorney sent a statement to Fox News that read: “We’re glad the former mayor is beginning to feel some of the impact of his actions. We hope that the police will complete their investigation and refer this matter to prosecutors so that Mr Foppoli can be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
The statement added, “Sexual assault victims have been silent for too long and we should applaud the women who are brave enough to stand up and demand justice.”
on March 25, 2022, CBS San Francisco reported that the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office had referred its assault investigation into former Mayor Foppoli to California Attorney General Rob Bonta’s office.
Although Abraham did not name Foppoli in her play, she ended up writing her blog post: “…I don’t need to mention the rapist’s name either as this person has already publicly broken the law by using my name in their ‘game victim’ press attack against me and is on record and you can see who his is failed lawyer and all the other women he also raped and his family winery are covering up the plan for rape and fraud victims.”
Since their first report the San Francisco Chronicle has published over “35 follow-up articles examining the institutional flaws that enabled Foppoli’s alleged behavior and the implications for Windsor and Sonoma County.”
The outlet writes that the California Fair Political Practices Commission is actively conducting two separate ethical investigations into Foppoli.
