FaZe Booya unveils Warzone 2 RAAL LMG Build That’s “New Meta” on Ashika Island

The RAAL LMG keeps getting stronger.

Warzone 2 continues to push its players to find the best and strongest loadouts that don’t come from the prevailing “meta” currently centered on the KV Broadside shotgun and its Dragon’s Breath ammo. While the longer range meta is dominated by the ISO Hemlock AR, there are options that continue to impress without leading in terms of pick rate or spread.

One of these is the RAAL LMG, which despite its poor handling and mobility offers near-unmatched damage and magazine capacity. Now, FaZe Clan’s Booya has revealed his favorite loadout for Ashika Island season 2, claiming it’s so strong it’s the “new meta” and that he expects it to gain popularity when the second Season of Reloaded released.

In a March 12 YouTube video, the competitor and content creator outlined the class he’s currently using in Resurgence, explaining that it’s so powerful that Warzone 2 feels like Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer.

“I don’t normally like LMGs,” he explained, “but after using it, it kind of changed my mind about LMGs. The thing absolutely rips [and] it feels like playing multiplayer in Warzone.”

Its specific build aims to further improve the RAAL’s accuracy, recoil and range, admittedly at the expense of mobility and handling. As a result, it is best suited for posting and shelling opponents at longer ranges. The full loadout is listed below:

• Snout: FTAC Reaper
• underflow: SA side handle
• Barrel: 21″ EXF Rhino barrel
• Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
• Optics: Aim OP-V4

As the RAAL’s strength undoubtedly lies at longer ranges, players will need a close-range weapon in their back pocket.

For now, that’s the KV Broadside shotgun or the Lachmann Sub SMG, both of which rip through enemy armor at close range. With the RAAL as your primary weapon, you can take out almost any enemy on Ashika Island.
