FedEx driver kills rattlesnake right after homeowner’s daughter drops by in heart-wrenching ring shots! REGARD!

A delivery driver from Nebraska got quite a surprise while on his route earlier this month!
FedEx supplier Matt Govier became a household hero after taking care of a snake-like predator lurking on a Dawson County mother’s doorstep – before it had a chance to bite anyone! Accordingly ABC affiliate NTVa poisonous rattlesnake entered Christie Jones‘ on the porch just MINUTES after her 12-year-old daughter and dog walked by. ring The footage captured the whole thing, which Christie described as “very scary.” She explained:
“My daughter had just walked out the same door 20 minutes earlier.”

Footage of the front door showed the snake slithering up the steps before curling up in the corner. Just two minutes later, Govier came to deliver a package. It was just a normal delivery – until it wasn’t! He told the news channel:
“I took [the package] to the front door and I sat down. And then I was like, ‘Hmmm’, and there it was.”
Now if he sounds confused by the snake, just remember how brave he was that day!
The quick-thinking delivery driver knew a family was staying at the residence, so instead of merely warning the homeowner — or leaving, as we’re sure many would, he took matters into his own hands:
“I knew they had a workshop there, and I figured they probably had some tools I could get.”
Ring footage then showed Matt returning to the porch with a shovel and rake to deal with the snake! After killing it, he even cleaned up all 36 inches of its remains! He explained:
“I had some garbage bags in the truck and I was like, ‘Yeah, I’ll throw it in there and I’ll decide what to do with it later.'”
He then sent Christie the following message:
“I hope you didn’t have a pet rattlesnake on your doorstep because I killed it. I’m sorry about the blood.”
OMG we hope she saw the lyrics before the blood! Wow, that would really be a different situation if it was her pet…LOLz! Do people keep rattles as pets?

Christie later took over Facebook to post about the whole situation by writing:
“I’m nominating Matt Govier for Fed Ex-Employee of the Year! Thank you Matt! The video of this anaconda sized ratter climbing up my front steps is in the first comment. Kyler had walked out that front door about 20 minutes before said line arrived. Anyone who really knows me knows how incredibly scared I am of any kind of snake…”
Call that a careful delivery! Watch the entire incident (below):
