Ferdinand Show has said the £5m player is definitely making the move to Liverpool

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Fabio Carvalho has already undergone a medical before a potential Liverpool move.

Earlier this month, the Italian journalist broke the news that Liverpool would sign the Fulham sensation in a £5million deal this summer [The Guardian].

The Anfield side were due to sign Carvalho on January transfer deadline day, only for the move to collapse late on.

However, the Reds are apparently determined to rectify that this summer.

And it looks like they’re moving fast as Romano has now revealed the 19-year-old has already completed his medical treatment.

He said on Rio Ferdinands FIVE YouTube show: “The deal is 100 percent complete. The player has already visited the training ground, met Jurgen Klopp, received medical treatment with Fulham’s permission. So everything is settled between Fabio Carvalho and Liverpool.”

Journalistic speculation aside, Carvalho may have confirmed the move himself.

When Romano originally published the story, the Cottagers attacker “liked” an Instagram post that referred to his prospective move to Merseyside.

And that, in this day and age, is the only confirmation you need to know that it’s pretty much a done deal.

With nine goals For this season’s Championship team, Carvalho has made England’s second tier shine and it looks like Liverpool are bringing another exceptional talent to Anfield, joining the likes of Harvey Elliott and Kaide Gordon.
