FIFA 22 TOTY Warmup series: start date, FUT leaks, SBC, how it works, more

Team of the Year is finally here in FIFA 22, but before we can get to the iconic super-booster team — coming next week — EA SPORTS kicks things off seven days early with a promo. new Warmup Series report.

EA announced a new promo on the eve of Team of the Year’s big release, “Warmup Series,” to get Ultimate Team players ready for next week’s main event.

Little is known about the new FIFA 22 promo so far, but considering it’s tied closely to the Team of the Year event, it could be a massive event full of enhanced players, premium SBCs and loads of packages.

And, if we’re lucky, so are the awesome flashback cards.

EA SPORTS is still offering a trickle of information about the TOTY Boot Series, but there’s a lot we already know. Here are all the details about the next FIFA promotion.

When does the Warmup Series start?

FIFA 22’s next promotion, the TOTY Warmup Series, is almost here. Dexerto may reveal new event to be held in Ultimate Team on Friday, January 14, and will be gearing up for the launch of Team of the Year next week.

TOTY Warmup Series Leak

The FIFA community has yet to spot any major leaks when it comes to the New Year’s Team Launch promo, but we’re sure to see some much needed information soon.

When details are leaked by Twitter insiders or by EA itself, we’ll keep you updated.

Unnominated players such as Manuel Neuer may receive a special Warm-Up card.

Warmup Series: what will happen?

EA SPORTS has given away very little when it comes to the Warmup Series so far, but Dexerto hopes we’ll see all the usual content when the first TOTY promotion drops.

That includes upgraded players, SBCs, goals, an absolute pile of promotional packs and everything in between. There’s also a good chance that the FIFA 22 developers will bring back the Most Popular Team of the Year card as a “Flashback” option, or issue a nomination card as they did this time last year.

The players of this year’s Team of the Year will definitely get a boost.
