FIFA 22 Winter Wildcards promo: start date, full team leaked, SBC, packs, more

FIFA 22’s popular FUTMAS promo got another breakthrough, with EA SPORTS revealing Winter Wildcards as the game’s new Christmas event. Ultimate Team players also don’t have to wait for the reveal ⁠— the entire team has been allegedly leaked online!

Christmas is just around the corner and with the controversial FUT Versus promotion now on Ultimate Team’s rearview mirror, the FUTMAS celebration can begin.

Of course, FUTMAS as a concept has not been featured in FIFA since late 2019, but similar events have taken place in recent years. The most recent was FUT Freeze, which later moved to Versus this year. Replacing Freeze as the festive event is now “Winter Wildcards”, a new promo.

EA SPORTS will be releasing new cards this week.

Expect a squad of FIFA 22 crackers ⁠— leaked ⁠— as well as a stockpile stocked with packs, SBCs, and goals. This is all we know.

Full Winter Wildcards group leaked soon

On December 16, the entire team of Winter Wildcards was allegedly corrupted online through a number of trusted FUT insiders, including FUTMentor and FUTSheriff.

Four of the leaked cards have also been confirmed to swap positions during the Christmas season, including Neymar, Fabinho and Coman, all of whom have been moved to strikers for the promotion, and Spinazzola, who switched to left back.

How do Winter Wildcards work?

The new FIFA 22 Ultimate Team ad is expected to be a heavily swapped ad, shifting star players into new positions on the field to alter their quality. According to insiders, EA SPORTS will follow the Freeze trend they set out last year, rather than a specific FUTMAS flavor.

As such, players should expect Winter Wildcards to behave like dynamic Shapeshifters from last year, with stat boosts in the mix.

Selected players on the Winter Wildcards team will be swapped for main positions.

Our Predictions for the Winter Wildcards in FIFA 22

The rumored name for the Winter Wildcard promotion is Brazilian superstar Neymar. Normally, the Paris Saint-German winger gets at least one super promotion card every season and this could be his moment.

Changing locations often has implications for players’ stats, which can give them a slight boost, while allowing for a seamless transition to a nearby location.
