The scene she was referring to was when her character, fictional pop star Ashley O, was tied against her will to a hospital bed in a fifth season episode of the popular anthology series. The scene also resembled the harrowing dreams she had in real life.

“I had these dreams every time I went to a gig and I thought it was just an anxious vision that didn’t make any sense,” she said. “But actually, when my house was on fire, I was strapped onto a stretcher, my hands were handcuffed and tied to a bed [filming Black Mirror].

The next day after her home was destroyed by the wildfires, Cryus said in the TikTok video that she needed to film it Music video for Ashley O’s song “On a Roll” which has been viewed more than 19 million times on YouTube.

“I found out my house had burned to the ground and that was the next day [filming],” she added. “The show must go on.”
