Aerith

Tifa

Another great choice purely due to her Limit Break, which can reduce a single opponent’s M DEF (Magical Defense) and P DEF (Physical Defense). While she can be difficult to recommend for a team focused on farming materials, Tifa is generally a good choice due to her high damage output combined with her Limit Break. Equip Tifa with weapons that increase her DPS and attack matter and you’ll have a solid DPS and debuffer on your team. Additionally, she can use the seasonal Lifeguard Wraps to heal your entire party, similar to Aerith. And if you purchased the gear through the special seasonal banner, it deals better damage with comparable healing. Red XIII

Red XIII operates on the opposite spectrum of Tifa. He can reduce P ATK (Physical Attack) and M ATK (Magical Attack) of a single enemy, which is great for dungeons. Glenn

A completely new character in the compilation of Final Fantasy VIIHe is one of two new protagonists coming through The first soldier Story missions. The only other character that rivals him in AoE damage is Matt, another The First Soldier character, although his attacks are more focused on magic damage. • Frosted – Matt makes the A-rank list primarily because his weapons have some really great AoE attacks. This means that when combined with characters like Zack, he is an exceptional character when it comes to farming materials. • Cloud – This is mainly because Ever Crisis gives you enough materials to have a decent weapon for Cloud that can get you through some of the previous content and make him a decent DPS and potential tank for your team. Other than that, Cloud is mostly fine, just like Zack, and is only as good as the weapons and materials you equip him with.
• Lucia – Although she has no group healing abilities, Lucia is able to weaken enemies and even give them status effects. Very few characters in FFVII Ever Crisis do this, aside from lowering PDEF, PATK, MDEF, and MATK. Lucia can actually silence enemies, putting her head and shoulders above the rest.

• Zack – He’s great because you get a free weapon for him at the start of the game. However, his damage can decrease very quickly compared to other party members and his AoE damage is element specific. This makes it a real recommendation for fast farming groups. However, he is still a solid DPS.
• Barrett – Similar to Zack, he is more or less just a DPS. He can heal, but it’s not as good as Aerith or Red XIII. His Limit Break, Mindblow, is similar to Tifa’s, but requires you to unlock him or else he would be higher on the list.
