What is Wordle and how do I play it?

Wordle is a five-letter word game that asks you to guess the correct answer within six attempts.

The color of the cells indicates whether you are on the right track or not.

If a cell turns green, it means you have guessed the correct letter. Yellow means you have guessed the correct letter but it is misplaced. Meanwhile, a gray box means that the character you have guessed does not exist in the word.

If you do not solve the puzzle within the given number of attempts, you will have to wait until the next day to find a new word.

Viral games can be played for free on New York Times‘ website.

What is Lewdle and Heardle?

If you’re so used to Wordle and want to try your hand at something different, consider playing Lewdle and Heardle.

Lewdle works in exactly the same way as Wordle. The player has six attempts to guess a five-letter word, but the only difference is that the words are rude or lewd.

Meanwhile, in Heardle, you’ll guess the music a few seconds at a time.

You start with a small piece of a song and with each new clue they get bigger.

Your first few guesses will reveal one second of the song, which will then gradually increase to two, three, four, and five seconds.
