Fire damages row houses in Cumberland County

SILVER SPRING TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – A fire damaged row homes in Cumberland County on Saturday, February 4.
Officers were called to the crime scene in Block 300 of Liberty Court in Silver Spring Township around 2 p.m. Saturday. The Silver Spring Township Fire Company has told abc27 that most of the fire started in the back of the house.
Two units were affected by fire damage and up to three or four units by smoke and water damage.
“People were inside at the time and were able to get out and called 911. Everyone was evacuated, there were no injuries and no one was hurt,” said Johnathan House, first lieutenant for the Silver Spring Community Fire Company.
The cause of the fire is not yet known as investigations are ongoing.
