Heroes from previous Fire Emblem games fight side-by-side with new… and Pepsi hair.
Today Nintendo released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Fire Emblem game, Fire Emblem Engage.
This time it’s all about beautiful looking cutscenes that offer a good insight into the story and a look at the characters.
Not only do we meet many new heroes, but also those from the past, such as Marth, Celica, and more. This seems to be one of the main bullet points of the game, where thanks to the Emblem Rings, the hero can summon heroes from previous Fire Emblem stories and have them fight alongside him.
Speaking of the hero, his hair still absolutely hurts, but what can you do?
You can watch the trailer below and see for yourself.
The game is set in a world that has suffered from a war against the “Fell Dragon” rescued by the four kingdoms who have summoned great heroes from other worlds to defeat the threat.
A thousand years have passed since that war, and the seal that holds the fallen dragon captive is weakening. The hero is a divine dragon tasked with collecting the emblem rings in order to resummon the heroes and protect the continent of Elyos.
Like all Fire Emblem base games, Fire Emblem Engage is a strategy JRPG and will be released on January 20th, 2023 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
