Fix Destiny 2 Weasel, Bat & Porpoise

Destiny 2 Weasel, Bat and Porpoise error codes have appeared to everyone recently, although they are not supposed to happen and people want to know how to fix them. For the most part, these three errors indicate a connection problem or some error with cross-play; relatively benign things that you can usually fix by checking your connection. However, the problem is on Bungie’s side, which seems to be the case at present. We will share all we know with you in Fix Destiny 2 Weasel, Bat & Porpoise tutorial.

Weasel Destiny 2 error code

Typically, the “weasel” error code in Destiny 2 appears in three situations.

  1. The first is when you try to sign in to multiple platforms simultaneously with cross-save enabled on that account.
  2. A second situation where you might encounter a “weasel” is when you are participating in an activity and get a restraining order.
  3. The third reason usually appears after some major update. With the latest Witch Queen update, the game takes you straight to that error screen. However, it seems to be cropping up when it shouldn’t at the moment. On the bright side, Bungie is working to figure out what’s going on, according to Bungie Twitter Help. So you’ll just have to be patient until they figure out what’s going on.

Porpoise Destiny 2 Error Code

When it comes to Destiny 2 “dolphin” error codes, here’s what Bungie says you should do, according to this lesson: Please try that operation again and continue what you were doing before the error occurred. If you get this error again, please exit Destiny then relaunch. If you continue to see this error, it may be because we are testing, please ignore us!

The problem is, as you can infer from the tweet we linked above, the “porpoise” bug was hitting players even when it shouldn’t have happened at the time of writing. The developers are looking into the issue and hope to have it resolved soon. We’ll have to wait and see.

Bat Destiny 2 Error Code

The “bat” error code in Destiny 2 is a general network issue. This can happen if your internet connection is interrupted or your connection to the Destiny 2 servers goes down, or it could even be an issue with your internet service provider. It could also have something to do with Bungie’s ending, which seems to be the case right now. Again, I refer you to the tweet we linked at the top. I can only deduce that there’s some big mess going on with the Destiny 2 servers causing these three error codes to pop up repeatedly for many people. So the most you can do is reset your connection or console/client and see if that works. Also, wait for Bungie to fix the situation.
