Food delivery driver is accused of shooting at customers in West Louisville
Police have charged a DoorDash driver after she allegedly shot at two customers she was delivering groceries to in west Louisville. An arrest warrant states that 34-year-old Mary Dorsey was delivering groceries to a home in the 2200 block of Date Street, California. According to the report, Dorsey began knocking on the door and an argument broke out between her and the customers. The two witnesses told police that Dorsey would not leave the property, but when she did, she came back and fired two shots at them. According to the arrest affidavit, the two victims told police they saw Dorsey pointed the gun at her while she fired shots. Dorsey later admitted to police that she had fired shots, but said she only fired them into the air. No one was hit by gunfire. The arrest memo states that Dorsey told police, “I knew I should have given in, but I’m not that kind of person.” Dorsey was also found with marijuana in her possession. She is charged with wanton endangerment, prohibiting the discharge of firearms and possession of marijuana. Dorsey is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
