For a few scattered showers and T-storms

Posted:

A frontal boundary will move into the state this evening into Wednesday. Scattered showers and squalls are possible ahead of and along the front moving through our area. High pressure will build briefly on the back side of the border and it will become a little drier on Thursday. Temperatures will drop slightly, with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the mid to upper 60s. The frontal boundary that passed through the area during the week will stall along the Gulf Coast. We expect some waves to move along the boundary, increasing the chance of a shower or storm on Friday. Further showers and storms are expected from Saturday to Sunday. It looks like temperatures will continue to hover in the upper 80s, with highs and lows in the upper 60s. The active weather will subside early next week. We expect mostly sunny and dry conditions from Monday and into the middle of the week.
