New Fortnite competitive format explained

The Arena competition format will not change, it will continue to support Solos, Duos, and Trios. Hype has been reset and you must reach Contender rank to participate in cash tournaments.

Chapter 4 Season 2 Tournaments

The available tournaments for Chapter 4 Season 2 are:

    • Trios Zero Build Fill Cups on Wednesdays.
    • Duos Battle Royale Fill Cups on Saturdays.
  • Win Cash Cups
    • Victory Cash Cups for Solo Battle Royale and Trios Zero Build on Sundays.
    • After qualifying for Round 2, you can earn cash prizes for each Victory Royale.
  • PlayStation Cups
    • PlayStation Qualifier Cups on March 24th and March 25th.
    • PlayStation Cup Finals on March 26 for a share of $230,200.

    • Battle Royale Cash Cups Duos on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Fortnite college cups
    • Fortnite Collegiate Cups are exclusive to college students in the United States and Canada.
      • Qualifier 1 will take place on March 16th.
      • Qualifier 2 will take place on March 23rd.
      • The final will take place on March 30th.
    • April College Cup
      • Qualifier 1 will take place on April 11th.
      • Qualifier 2 will take place on April 18th.
      • The final will take place on April 25th.

    • After qualifying for Round 4, you can compete against each other to win cash prizes.

FNCS Major 2

The FNCS Major 2 starts on April 13th and many changes have been made to the format. The Divisional Cups have been removed for this season to allow more players to participate, although they may return with a better format in future seasons. The FNCS will be duos, combining Thursday and Friday’s points into one. The top 50 duos from each division qualify for the weekly finals. At the end of each weekly competition, each duo earns streak points, and the top 40 duos with the most streak points over the three weeks qualify for the Major.

    • From April 13th to April 16th.
    • From April 20th to April 23rd.
    • From April 27th to April 30th.
