Trinity hosted the newest member of Class 6A, Frederick Douglass. After trailing 17-0 in the fourth quarter, Trinity cut the Broncos’ lead to three (17-14) when Zane Johnson scored the 17-yard touchdown with Jeremiah Lynn, but the Shamrocks rally failed. Frederick Douglass defeated Trinity 17-14.
