Free Xbox Live Gold games get Xbox Series X Weekend Boost

Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download two additional free games this weekend, one of which comes with additional Xbox Series X optimization.

And that’s in addition to the current titles, which can be added to your library at no extra charge. The only downside is that while Xbox Game Pass can also benefit from this new offering, some of the included titles are already available as part of the service.

But for everyone else, it’s a welcome boost after a lackluster offering from Games With Gold.

Xbox Live Gold Free Games Boost for the weekend

Microsoft has confirmed Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download and play two additional games this weekend for a limited time. This includes the ability to add Football Manager 2022 and Grow: Song of the Evertree. These can be played until Monday 11th April around 8am BST and they also offer a special weekend discount for those who want to keep playing.

This offer is open to anyone using Games With Gold and Xbox Game Pass, but it comes with a downside. If you already have Xbox Game Pass, there is already plenty of Football Manager content available to play. However, Grow: Song of the Evertree is not found on either service and offers something new to try on Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

To download to console, Xbox subscribers can click on the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store and enter the Gold Members Area to find the Free Play Days Collection on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. And full descriptions of both games are below:
