Fulham are set to announce a new £7million signing within days, a £30,000-a-week deal has been agreed

Manor Solomon were set to complete their drawn-out move to Premier League newcomers Fulham this week on an agreed £30,000-a-week, five-year deal, the Israeli publication reports Ynet.
A fleet-footed forward with Champions League goals against Atalanta, Manchester City and Real Madrid on his CV could, in theory at least, become one of the best pound-for-pound signings of any Premier League club this summer. Especially if he lives up to the Eden Hazard comparisons in west London.
One thing is for sure, Fulham fans will hope he’s worth the wait.

It has been almost two months since Solomon appeared to confirm his imminent move to English football. It’s even longer since Fulham reportedly agreed a £7million transfer fee with Shakhtar Donetsk as the winger’s market value has plummeted following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
But after more will-you-won’t-you moments than a drawn-out sitcom romance, it seems Rachel and Ross, sorry, Fulham and Solomon are finally getting together. Ynet say the former Arsenal target will be officially unveiled as a Fulham player ‘likely’ before early July.
Solomon, the report adds, is prioritizing a move to the Premier League above all other offers. And that despite interest from Turin and Nice, among others. He will sign a five-year deal worth around £30,000 a week at Craven Cottage.
Fulham will eventually land Manor Solomon
“In January, Shakhtar had an offer from Fulham of €18m (£15m),” the president of Solomon’s former club Maccabi Petah Tikvah said a few weeks ago, expressing frustration after missing out on a sizeable windfall over the Resale clause in the 22-year-old’s contract.
“If they had sold him for that amount in January and not paid like Fulham now, we would have had over a million euros.”
And Yossi Benayoun, arguably the greatest Israeli footballer in the Premier League, is backing Solomon to emulate his influence on the British coast.
“Hopefully he goes to the Premier League. It’s the best league in the world and a leap forward for him,” said Benayoun, once for Liverpool, Chelsea and West Ham United.
“He has proven that he is a player of the highest level. He needs to improve certain things, but he’s part of it. We know his abilities.
“Will he reach my level? It depends on the team. Fulham have only just been promoted to the league. When I came to West Ham, that was after promotion too. We played attacking football and that was good for me.
“Hopefully Manor too.”
Fulham could also complete the signing of Joao Palhinha from Sporting Lisbon this week.
