Funeral set for the remaining victim of the Louisville Bank shooting

The visit for Juliana Maria Farmer, 45, will be held at the Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson on Friday from 4pm to 8pm and the funeral service will be held at St Paul’s Episcopal Church on Saturday at 11am, the funeral home said.

Farmer, a credit analyst at the bank, was one of five people killed April 10 when another Old National Bank employee entered the building and began firing an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle while witnessing the attack live transmitted before the police fatally shot him. Eight others were injured, including a police officer who was shot in the head and remained in hospital in critical condition on Monday. Seven others who were hospitalized have been released, officials said.

Farmer had just accepted the job at the Old National Bank. Her obituary said she had been there for two weeks and a day when the shooting happened and that she loved her job. “Juliana had a great personality and drew people in with her warmth and beautiful smile,” the obituary reads.

She leaves behind her mother, three children and four grandchildren.
