Further evidence emerges that the day before is Super Sus

Can this game one day go without coming out as a cheat?

The Day Before has faced a lot of skepticism about its legitimacy, and a recent reveal on Reddit doesn’t help the game’s image.

In a Feb. 5 post by user PatFury on the Gaming Subreddit, a video featured images, videos, and marketing used to promote developer Fntastic’s upcoming title. These pieces of media are shown side-by-side with media for other gaming properties, and the resemblance is uncanny.

Some have similar or identical fonts used for the names of the games. Others are just slightly altered images, with the positioning of objects almost exactly the same. The trailers in particular are the scariest: While the characters may have slightly different outfits, the shot composition, camera angles, and movements of the characters shown are one-to-one.

It should be noted that the promotional material for the other games shown is well-established and would have existed for several years before The Day Before had promotional material made for it. As such, it’s almost impossible that the game’s trailers were designed that way purely by accident. It also seems a little too accurate to be a well-meaning homage to these various titles, amassing even more evidence that all is likely not well with this upcoming game.

We highly recommend watching the video below as it has to be seen to be believed.

All of this comes after The Day Before suffered a significant delay earlier this year. Originally scheduled for March, the game was delayed due to an alleged trademark dispute. Although this was followed by the release of new footage of the game in action, the lack of any substantial gameplay shown for the game has only made people more suspicious of the game’s credibility.

Time will tell, but The Day Before is currently scheduled for release on PC on November 10th. For more about the game, we have many other related articles that you can read below.
