Garcelle Beauvais gives unexpected RHOBH filming update

RHOBH Season 13 is filming.

The cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently filming Season 13 and things seem to be going “really well,” at least according to Garcelle Beauvais.

The reality TV star gave an update on the filming during a chat with Page Six. When asked how things were going, Beauvais replied: “Honestly, really well. We’re all reconnecting and having fun so far.”

For Season 13 without Lisa Rinna, Diana Jenkins, or Kathy Hilton (up to this point), things are a little different, but the women seem to get along. In March 2023, they took a trip to Las Vegas and were all smiles on different photos and videos shared on social media.

Many RHOBH fans already miss Lisa Rinna

Rinna has been a fairly polarizing character on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since she joined the cast in Season 5. Over the years, she’s cemented her role as a franchise villain — huh she appeared to be hugging.

Although season 13 is not yet complete, many fans can already sense Rinna’s absence and have commented on various cast posts on social media.

“Seems to be missing a very big energy from the main character.” An Instagram user commented on a video of the cast in Vegas.

“Not the same without Rinna. I already know,” someone else added.

“I miss Lisa R reticently”, read a third comment.

Rinna announced her departure from the franchise in January 2023. “This is the longest job I’ve held in my 35-year career and I’m grateful to everyone at Bravo and everyone involved with the series. It’s been a fun eight-year run and I’m looking forward to what’s to come,” says Rinna said in a statement to People magazine.

Sutton Stracke expressed excitement for the film’s 13th season

Before officially starting Season 13, cast member Sutton Stracke said she was really looking forward to filming.

“I can’t wait to start filming. Can’t wait to see all the ladies. I can’t wait to see the new dynamic.” to People magazine in January 2023. “I think we’ve hit a stalemate and I think we needed a restructure and it could be scary. But look, I’m still a newbie. I will not hurt anyone. I will not play unfair. I do not play. I show up I do,” she added.

After her departure, Rinna said that both Beauvais and Sutton needed to step things up for season 13.

“I think Sutton and Garcelle are going to have a hard time because they have to show up and work,” says Rinna tells interview. “I worked a lot. Because I’m a worker bee and I’ll just do it. I will say it. I’m not afraid. If you’re that popular, you won’t want to do the work. So who’s going to do the work over there? That’s my question. Who does the work? Who’s going to say, ‘I heard you said that about me.’ who will do this You tell me. Who’s doing that over there?” She wondered.

And while it seems pretty quiet “so far,” according to Beauvais, it sounds like there may have been some drama during the trip to Vegas.

“It always seems like a great idea for the ‘housewives’ to go to Vegas. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?” Kyle Richards said Access Hollywood during an interview at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar party on March 12, 2023. “Of course there was drama. Right in front of the gate,” she added.
