Everton are closing in on Leeds and Burnley
The result means Frank Lampard’s side are now set third from below in the Premier League table with 32 points from 33 games.
Everton are two points behind Burnley and Leeds, who are 16th and 17th respectively.
Both Leeds and Burnley have played 34 games.
Ex-Everton striker and MOTD presenter Lineker is delighted with the Toffees’ win and believes the Merseyside club could still avoid dreaded relegation from the Premier League.
Fight for survival
In our opinion, the fight for survival in the Premier League is being jeopardized with Leeds, Burnley and Everton all in jeopardy.
Norwich City are already relegated and we think it’s only a matter of time before Watford join them in the Championship.
Leeds have a good team but Burnley are on the right track and are winning games at the moment.
In other news, Tottenham are seeking revenge on Luis Diaz and battling Liverpool for a £20m star who is being compared to Sergio Ramos
