Gear up soldiers, Call of Duty Warzone 2 has been shelved early

Today Activision made the new iteration of Call of Duty’s popular free-to-play battle royale mode Warzone available to everyone.

In addition to the core Warzone 2.0 Battle Royale playlists, players can enjoy the brand new DMZ mode that offers a whole new experience.

Specifically, players can participate in this 66-person open-world experience by setting their own goals in semi-freeform, accepting goals from three different factions that can level up, accepting and unlocking contracts for extra experience, and exploring locked areas after Prey.

Of course, daring players can still pursue and loot other operators she instead, while others choose to play it safe and focus on the AI ​​until they can achieve their exfiltration.

Another new feature is the third-person playlist, which lets you enjoy the game while the camera is locked behind your operator. You can even choose to aim over the left or right shoulder, adding a new dimension to the Warzone experience.

The Gulag has also changed, now focusing on a duo experience that even includes a prison guard NPC to add excitement and speed things up. Players can either try to eliminate the other duo or team up to kill the jailer so everyone gets away scot-free.
