Gemma Owen plans to move into her own love quarters when she leaves Love Island villa, Mail Online can reveal.
The teenager is currently living in luxury accommodation in North Wales with football dad Michael, mum Louise and her brothers and sisters.
But friends of the 19-year-old say she was house hunting before joining the show and her time on the ITV show will have fueled her desire to fly the nest.

Protective dad Michael needn’t worry too much, though, as we can reveal that her favorite spot in Chester is where dad already owns an apartment and where she parties regularly.
A source said: “Gemma will continue to house hunt when she leaves the show but there’s no chance she’ll move a guy in. She wants to spend some alone time first before taking this step.
“Gemma is fiercely independent and also has plans to travel and promote her clothing line once Love Island is complete.”
Gemma lives in North Wales with her father, retired football star Michael Owen, her mother Louise and her three siblings.

Her family’s huge country home is in a village that couldn’t be further from the glamor of the Love Island mansion.
Friends say hardly anyone in the village sees the show – which means Gemma can expect to be treated exactly the same when she returns.
Our source added: “[It’s] is a very quiet place where many villagers are retired. Most people living there prefer Countryfile to Love Island. But that’s one of the reasons Gemma and her family love it there.”

As well as a thriving career in television and as an influencer, Gemma is also a talented equestrian and regularly attends events.
Her father Michael, who has had a glittering career playing for Liverpool, Real Madrid and Newcastle, also has a number of business interests including horse racing and property development.
According to reports last month, the producers are apparently interested in signing Gemma for an At Home With The Owen’s Style program.

As we revealed in June, before entering the villa, Gemma, 19, put her business affairs in order by launching a new media venture – and made mum Louise co-director.
It comes after Gemma Ekin-Su told Cülcüloğlu to keep her damn nose out of her business and accused the Turkish actress of spreading rumors about her relationship with Luca in Monday’s episode.
Ekin-Su, 27, had told it Paige Thorne and Jacques O’Neill that she overheard Gemma, 19, telling Dami Hope her head could be turned off by Luca Bish, who she is dating.
Michael Owen’s daughter fumed at her fellow stars for Ekin-Su’s “d***head behavior” before confronting her face-to-face, saying, “Maybe you should keep your nose out of other people’s business and shut up.”
The revelation prompted Luca to admit to Gemma that he wants a future with her but thinks they are “on different sides” in a tense conversation, leading him to wonder if they should stay together.
She cleared things up in a confessional booth, saying, “IIf someone comes in who is 100% my type, who I get along with better than Luca and who I’m more attracted to, then I get to know them. Do I think that’s likely? No.’
Ekin-Su kept his cool and said to the camera, “Why is it me again? How does everything come to me? Damie has an opinion. That’s Dami’s quote, not me. I didn’t do anything wrong, but it’s so easy to blame me here, isn’t it?’
Ouch! Love Island’s Gemma Owen urged Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu to “keep her friggin’ nose out of her business” and accused the Turkish actress of spreading rumors about her relationship with Luca in Monday’s episode
Gemma addressed the record straight to Luca himself, pulling him aside to say: “You’ve probably heard most of this by now anyway. Dami read everyone’s mind.
“He said if someone came in it was 100% for me and I had better chemistry with you than you do then I would be open to getting to know him.
“I didn’t say anything about it, Dami spoke, I just didn’t contradict and ended up saying, ‘Whatever’.
Dami previously tried to “read” Gemma’s mind, telling her: “You’re happy with Luca right now. I have a feeling it would take a lot for you to turn around, but there’s a small chance it probably would if someone really walked in who was 100% you.
Eek: Ekin-Su, 27, had told Paige Thorne and Jacques O’Neill that she overheard Gemma, 19, telling Dami Hope that her head could be turned away from Luca Bish, who she is dating
“I feel like this is probably where the confusion would set in for you because we’re not here to play games. I feel like you’re still open in a way, probably more open than Luca.’
Gemma admitted: “Yeah, that was pretty impressive. I don’t think you’re that wrong.’
As Ekin-Su overheard and told her fellow islanders, Gemma came up to her and said: ‘You started this, you made drama out of nothing! You had no right to say that and you knew it would cause trouble.”
Luca later admitted to Gemma in a tense conversation that he wants a future with her but “doesn’t want to get hurt” in which he wondered if they should stay together.
Clarified: In a confessional, she clarified: “If someone comes in who is 100 percent my type, with whom I get along better than Luca and to whom I feel more attracted, then I get to know him. Do I think that’s likely? No’
He told her: “My head wouldn’t turn, so I feel like I’m into you more than I am. We’re on different sides. I want a future with you, I’m obsessed with you. I don’t want to get hurt and I don’t care who walks through the door.
Gemma replied: “Ok and my head is with you but I don’t want to say 100% there won’t be anyone I have a better connection with because I don’t know that.”
When he started talking, she said abruptly, “Let me speak. You might as well ask me to be your goddamn girlfriend.’
Finally he could say: ‘To this day I couldn’t be happier with you.’
In the diary room, Gemma said: “I think tonight was a bit chilly. They said, “We’re fine,” but it’s still a little weird.”
Explaining: She added, “He said if someone came in it was 100% for me and I had better chemistry with you than you do then I would be open to getting to know him.”
