Genshin Impact’s Tighnari has a new VA, Zachary Gordon from Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Earlier this year, Tighnari’s English voice actor cast a character in Genshin ImpactShe has been accused of numerous acts of improper misconduct. Elliot Gindi, the original voice actor for Tighnari, was subsequently fired, with HoYoverse stating Gindi would no longer voice the character. It’s only been a few months and we already have confirmation that a new voice actor is coming to replace Gindi. And glorious it is the weak child himself Greg’s diary. Zachary Gordon, best known for his role as Greg Heffley, will voice Tighnari.
voice lines for Tighnari was datamined showing some of his newly recorded voice lines. Gordon may be best known for his role as the only Greg Heffley, but he’s also a veteran voice actor with roles in Kingdom Hearts III And Mafia: Definitive Edition. Still, he’s best known for his screen work, but the leaked voice lines already show that Genshin Impact and Tighnari fans needn’t worry with his new voice acting.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Meets Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact has previously swapped out the voice actors, which gives that act a bit of priority. A similar scenario occurred with the Chinese voice actor of Oz, who was later replaced. Additionally, Barbara’s voice actor re-recorded many of her voice lines, giving Barbara a softer touch. HoYoverse is no stranger to changing voices and voice lines and the prompt manner in which they handled this situation is sympathetic.
Genshin Impact Version 3.6 is expected to be released on April 12th and will bring with it some new playable characters, Baizhu and Kaveh. Baizhu is a 5-star Dendro character designed to provide tons of healing and shields, while Kaveh is a 4-star Dendro character that has the potential to deal decent damage. We’ll also get a repeat of Nahida, the Dendro Archon, and Nilou, a master dancer.
