GOP Matt Mowers Announces Record Election Cycle Fundraiser

Republican candidate for New Hampshire’s first congressional district Matt Mowers announced a historic record campaign fundraiser of nearly $1.2 million raised so far this election cycle as he intends to get out of his party’s primary and win the to unseat MP Chris Pappas (D-NH) in November.

The campaign announced that Mowers, as front runners, continues to set donation records to sell Pappas. The Mowers campaign also noted that he was the first Republican congressional candidate in New Hampshire history to raise over $1.1 million by this point in the cycle.

Since he announced his bid for Congress last August, the Mowers campaign has achieved its record yield of more than 7,200 unique donors. Since then, he has received donors from all 50 states and has recorded an average donation of $85.61.

In the first quarter alone, Mowers raised $340,808 from 4,248 donors. He also averaged $72 in donations for the first three months of the year, with 94 percent of his donations under $100.

Compared to Mowers’ 2020 cycle, in which he narrowly lost, he was only able to raise over $1.1 million in September, just months before the election. In fact, he was only able to raise $354,484 at this point in the cycle, giving him a massive advantage over what he had in 2020.

“Matt Mowers is assembling the resources needed to defeat the Pappas-Pelosi machine in November, and it’s clear his message resonates with Granite Staters,” said Parker Carey, Mowers campaign manager.

“While Nancy Pelosi buys millions of dollars in ads to support Pappas’ failed campaign, conservative citizens from across New Hampshire and across the country are supporting Matt,” Carey continued. “In November, Matt Mowers will beat Chris Pappas and retake New Hampshire’s First District.”

Mowers worked at Trump Tower during his 2016 campaign, served on former President Donald Trump’s transition team, and then was a senior White House adviser at the State Department before running as a Republican against Pappas in 2020. Now Mower has successfully raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for his choice and has constantly pilloried Pappas for his mistakes.

Mowers has challenged Pappas over his poor voting record — he voted for the Build Back Better Act — and has failed Granite Staters by being blindly loyal to President Joe Biden.

He has also called on Pappas to crack down on members and their spouses for profiting from corrupt insider trading practices and to condemn television advertising funded by billionaire Bill Gates’ Dark Money organization, which he credited for supporting the radical spending packages of the United States Democrats thanked.
