Hailey Bieber raves about a giant billboard for her new Rhode skincare line in Hollywood

Hailey Bieber got a thrill as she drove past the giant billboard promoting her new skincare line, Rhode, on Hollywood’s world-famous Sunset Blvd earlier this week.

The giant promotional poster, mounted on the side of a tall building, shows a close-up of Hailey’s face with Rhodes Barrier Restore Cream applied to her cheeks, forehead and chin.

“Hello LA wave driving by @rhode at sunset,” Bieber, 25, wrote to her 45.5 million Instagram fans and followers in a post shared Thursday.

The poster photo shows the popular model only from the neck up. Her long tresses are pulled back from her face with a white headband, allowing admirers to fully see her products in action.

A video shot from inside a car as it drove past the giant ad made it onto her Instagram Stories by Friday.

Bieber wanted to show off some of Rhode’s standout products and shared on her Instagram how she’s incorporating them into her current beauty routine.

“Today we were forced to file a lawsuit against Hailey Bieber and her new skincare line that launched last week that uses the Rhode brand,” said the co-owners of the nine-year, minority-owned company Clothing company Rhode wrote in a statement.

The co-owners stated that they “didn’t want to file this lawsuit,” but they had to to protect themselves from trademark confusion.

Co-founders Purna Khatau and Phoebe Vickers, who filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on June 21, made it a point to commend Bieber for developing her own skincare line.

“We don’t want to sue Hailey; we want to celebrate them. As co-entrepreneurs, we wish her every success,” it said in a statement.

Bieber has yet to respond to the lawsuit or speak publicly about it, but a source connected to the model claims Hailey and the clothing company both have brands for different types of deals, meaning the clothing company may not have a basis for them to sue.
