Halo Infinite Players Frustrated As HCS Raleigh Opening Match Is Delayed

Halo Infinite players and viewers have been very disappointed with the experience at the HCS Kickoff Major Raleigh 2021 so far, after technical difficulties caused one delay after another.
Halo Infinite esports is officially underway, with the first day of HCS Kickoff Major Raleigh 2021 Starts on 12/17.
It has become the most-watched Halo tournament in the franchise’s history, but it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. The event was marred by technical issues that caused players to disconnect between matches, resulting in hours of delays.
343 acknowledged the problems early on. Halo Esports Leads Tashi tell players on Twitter: “Thanks for sticking with us as we work on these engineering grenades. We’re flipping every stone to make sure we get the issue resolved, and hopefully the rest of the matches on the stage go well. ”
Thank you for sticking with us as we work through these technical gremlins. We’re turning every rock face to face to make sure the issue is resolved and hopefully the rest of the matches on stage go smoothly.

However, the remaining matches did not go smoothly at all. Problems continue to be a problem. It began to affect players, including Eric ‘Snip3down’ Wrona of FaZe Clan, who talked about it on social media.
“Bring the Xbox out!” Snip3down said. “It is time to stop using PC Halo on LAN until these issues are resolved. #1 priority after this weekend. I don’t know what it is, but the Xbox doesn’t crash as far as I know.”
“I am 100% receptive to the downgrade experience so we can maintain the competitive integrity and momentum that Halo has built. I don’t want this to leave a scar for future hype events.”
Snip3down also has disclosure that his team’s game against G2 Esports has been postponed until the next day, December 18 after several hours of delay on Day 1.

G2 Esports ‘Cory’ Str8 SicK ‘Sloss, who faces Snip3down in the next match, also expressed his disappointment.
“It’s 10pm now and we’ve played a pool match so far,” he said. “I’m pretty sure we’re still playing the next Divine Mind on the main stage, but honestly we’re not.”

Of course, technical difficulties and latency also affect the viewer’s experience. “343, for the love of all holy things, bind you together,” wrote a viewer. “I’ve never seen so many disconnects and crashes in a single LAN.”
“The future of the competitive scene for Halo Infinite will be permanently ruined because of this,” wrote again. “This is the most dysfunctional state I have ever seen an esports title in an official event.”
The community hopes that developers and organizers will be able to fix technical issues in time for Day 2.
