1. Family Movie Night: “Home Alone”

Get popcorn ready for a family movie night at City Place Plaza in The Woodlands Friday, December 17, 2021. “Home Alone” begins at sundown, 6:45pm. Attendees are free.

2. Afternoon tea at St. Regis Houston

Afternoon Tea at St. Regis Houston is held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in the Houston metropolitan area.

“Join the age-old tradition of Afternoon Tea at The St. Regis Houston in our luxury lounge,” the hotel wrote. “Join us Friday through Sunday and sip a cup of St. Regis Blend when you hear a harpist perform.”

Pre-booking is required. The cost is $59 for adults and $32 for children. Afternoon tea is held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 5pm and 11am to 1pm Saturday and Sunday.


3. Murder Mystery Dinner Theater: “A Christmas With No Clues”

If you’re looking for a fun date night idea or an activity with friends or family, check out Murder Mystery Dinner Theater: “A Christmas With Few Clues,” Friday nights and Saturday at Agatha Theater’s Creative Learning Society at 7pm in Rosenberg. This is the last weekend for the show.

“Our audience will instantly complete Goofy challenges to win Clues…. Discover hidden evidence and some spectators even become characters in the story! It’s the perfect evening for those who love solving crimes and those who enjoy getting involved in some seriously bad deeds! ” Agatha Theater wrote.

Visitors can purchase a ticket that doesn’t include dinner for $35 or enjoy a catered meal with their ticket for $59.


4. Snow days (real): 100% chance of snow

Children of all ages are invited to play in the snow at the Children’s Museum of Houston from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, December 18, through Wednesday, December 29.

“Snow?! In Texas?! That’s right!” the Houston Children’s Museum writes. “A cloud of nimbostratus will descend on the Children’s Museum of Houston to transform our yard into a winter wonderland. Put on your gloves and expect a 100% chance of snow! ”

Admission is $12, and the event will be held in the courtyard.


5. Sarah Brightman: The “Christmas Symphony” Tour

Sarah Brightman will perform at the Smart Finance Center in Sugar Land at 7:30pm on Saturday, December 18 as part of the “Christmas Symphony” Tour.

6. International Soul Food Festival at The Zone

Savor delicious food, listen to music from around the world, and indulge through the International Food Festival at The Zone, noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, December 18,

Children 16 and under are free and adult tickets are $5. The event page says free parking is available in the area. Proceeds will be donated to the Hope for Us charity.

Build delicious gingerbread houses with special guest Mrs. Claus at Woodlands Children’s Museum Saturday, December 18, 10am-2pm

Monday, December 20 to Wednesday, December 22. A food truck will be provided on site, and attendance is free. Registration is required.
