Harrisburg University is launching a Veteran Assistance Program

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Harrisburg University is working to introduce a new program aimed at veterans.
The program is called Launch-U for Veterans. The goal is to bring veterans’ business ideas to life in nine weeks. Program organizers said veterans already had some of the skills needed.
“Anything lacking in their skills is how to look at a problem, what the right kind of problem is that needs to be solved, how to develop a product that fits, and how to bring it to market, muster and investing the money, that’s really what this program is about,” said Jay Jayamohan.
The cost of the program is $7,500. But the University of Harrisburg hopes it will be covered by a sponsorship company. The university wants to offer applications until the end of March.
