Golf is so fun. To recap his Players Championship swing:

– Hoge hit a six over 78 at TPC Sawgrass on Thursday. He double-shot a third of his holes on his back nine. He booked a flight home.

– On Friday he was better – four under 68 – but he was around the cut line.

— The game was suspended on Friday due to a storm. Hoge canceled the flight and booked another.

— On Saturday, Hoge watched the rest of the second round. Hoge shortened the number. He canceled the second flight.

— Hoge went wild. Starting on the back nine, he shagged 10 holes – 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 2, 3, 4, 8, and 9. He bogeyed no holes. He shot a Sawgrass record 62.

— He shot two over 70s on Sunday.

— He raked in $1.475 million.
