It’s in the air you breathe with every breath.

You’ll be together soon, until then listen to her song.

After sharing the poem, Mina shared that it was Stefanie’s birthday, but wrote, “We’re not celebrating Stef’s birthday today, she probably wouldn’t let us celebrate even if she were here, but we’re thinking of her. We talk to the children about them. We tell them about her and how much she loves them. We see her in Charlie every day.”

Mina was expecting their second child, Charlotte, whom they name Charlie, at the time of Stefanie’s death. In an Instagram post On January 3, 2021, Mina shared how devastating it was for her family, who also lost Steve’s mother in May 2018 and his father six months later. after Distractify. Mina shared: “When Covid hit hard we lost Stef; way too young, way too early for what i needed her for and way too early for what my family needed her for. She was a bright light to us at a time when she didn’t see much light herself. She was deeply affected by the loss of her parents, Rick and Sally. We all did that, but Stef especially.”

Due to lockdowns in the early days of the pandemic, the Hawk family was unable to hold a memorial service for Stefanie. In her latest tribute to her sister-in-law, Mina reflected on whether or not Stefanie would be “proud” of her, her family and her company today.

Mina ended her tribute by writing: “Even if you would hate it we still talk about you Steffie. You are love and you are missed.”

In the second episode of Minas new “Mina AF” podcast, Mina, who was posted on Jan. 17, shared that they have been open with the kids about missing their family members and often share stories about Steve’s parents and Stefanie. But she also said she suspects these discussions inspired a deep conversation with little Jack as he was driving him to school recently.

“So we’re in the car and he’s like, ‘Dad is going to die soon?'” she exclaimed.

“You know, we associate a lot of grief with this, but not yet Jack because he’s so young and pure,” she continued. “But then you’re going down the rabbit hole.”

Mina said she told Jack his daddy wasn’t going to die “until he’s really old,” but then Jack wanted to know when he was really old. So Mina said she told him it would be after he was married and had his own kids but then Jack decided he didn’t want to get married. From then on the conversation went in a spiral, she laughed.

Mina said, “I don’t know why, but we just went down this giant rabbit hole. And it’s just the best. I was in the car crying as we drove past his school because he’s just so pure and cheerful and happy.” HGTV star shares heartbreaking tribute to sister-in-law
