Home and Away: Fans were surprised to see that Ada Nicodemou used to wear braces

A hidden detail caught the eye of home and away fans in a previous episode of the soap.

A fan shared a picture on Facebook of Ada Nicodemou, who substituted for Sally Fletcher and Flynn Saunders on the Channel Seven show in 2004.

The viewer pointed out that Ada, who has played Leah Patterson on the show since 2000, looked different as she wore braces.

“When Leah gave birth [to] Baby Pippa, I never noticed and never knew Leah had braces. Thought [only] Teens/kids have braces,” they wrote.

“I started watching the soap in 2006 and didn’t see it with them at the time.”

However, other viewers weren’t so surprised by the discovery, with one writing, “I think she’s had them for a while lol.”

The fan pointed out that Kirsty Marillier, who now plays Rose Delaney on the show, had appeared as an extra in the background.
